Kip Azzoni

Kip funded and completed an award-winning PSA and short film featuring Martin Sheen that addresses the unbearable statistic of the veteran suicide epidemic.

The most recent project is PERSONAL COURAGE, a documentary film directed by Kip in collaboration with Emmy Award-winning documentarian Lucian Read, focusing on male veterans transitioning back to civilian life. This documentary film is crucial, especially when considering the alarming rates among both male and female veterans, including our brave women warriors.

With a Master’s in screenwriting from NYU/Tisch, Kip has completed a slate of over 14 feature films and TV properties. Yet all those can wait; this project cannot. While we sit around debating and having meetings about meetings, 22 more veterans will die by their own hand today. One suicide a day is simply unacceptable.
